My GIANT CARROTS are almost ready for harvest.

Ma dug up some the other day for me to taste.

Do you think she'll let me eat them ALL?

Even I don't JUST eat carrots!

It's very healthy to eat a variety of foods.

But I have to be careful - if I eat too much of something I could get very sick.

If you bring me snacks, you should ALWAYS ask Ma before you give them to me.

Sometimes I think about stopping to EAT the flowers.

If this pink one were just a little bit closer...

But I better check with Ma. She might get mad if I eat the flowers.

Besides, some flowers are poisonous!

Guess I'll just wait for more carrots.

Gardening takes such a long time.

I have to be very patient.

Daisy The Snack Guard

 

Everyone knows how much I LOVE my carrots.

But the carrots are too small and I do need to snack on something.

So Ma bought me animal cookies! Daisy sometimes comes to the barn and eats them too!

The problem is, when we keep them in the barn, they get stale.

So I had to hire Daisy to keep MY animal cookies so they don't get stale.

 

Maybe it's just me, but doesn't Daisy look too sleepy for keeping my cookies safe?

I don't know what those other plants are, but I'm sure Ma and Dad won't let me eat them.

I only get ONE ROW of the garden.

That doesn't seem fair.

After all, my POOP fertilizes the whole thing!

Please, tell them I need more than one tiny row of carrots.

I'm very sad today.

I wanted to blog about my carrot crop from the garden.

But I have no pictures so I can't tell you all about my carrots and how much I am looking forward to EATING my carrots - that's my favorite part!

Maybe next week Ma will help me get some pictures.

It's hard to work the camera with my hoof - all those tiny buttons.

Ahhh...

The only thing I like better than being sprayed with the hose on a hot day?

Having a nice cool drink from the hose on a hot day.

My Computer Was Sick

I did not know computers could get SICK!

My computer had a virus.

I don't think I like rain, even if it makes the grass grow.

I get very wet and muddy.
