It was a birthday present from Daisy! She's sorry for scaring me with the bone-chewing incident last weekend.

What if that's a HORSE BONE?!?!?!

I don't want Daisy to chew on me.

 

It's a good thing she's so tiny - she won't be able to take a big bite.

But I'll have to have a carrot soon just to make sure.

I thought he was sure to win!

I mean, he's almost as handsome as I am.

And I'm sure he's very nice.

Well, he can come over to hang out sometime.

We can have carrots.

Wait, do racehorses get carrots? I hope so.

I don't want any horse to live without carrots!!



Can't Quite See

I'm trying to admire my pedicure but I can't quite see!

Did you know horses can't see their own feet?

We can't, no matter how hard we try.

I need a mirror in my stall so I can see how handsome I look!

One of my FAVORITE friends came to see me this week -

Doug the blacksmith!

See now nice he made my hooves look?

I like Doug because he ALWAYS tells me I look good.

And when Ma gets done with the oil, my hooves will be nice and shiny.
