Carrot Harvest

I'm very worried. Ma and Dad are talking about harvesting MY carrots from the garden. They want to keep the carrots from spoiling. And I'm all for that, if they feed me ALL the carrots, because aren't carrots supposed to be good for you? They give me my lovely reddish-gold color, right? I think Ma and Dad are planning to EAT my carrots. Help!!

See how cute I am? Wouldn't you feed me a carrot?

A Horse With Many Names

I heard a song on the radio about a horse with no name. I don't get it. How can a horse have no name? I'm a horse and I have LOTS of names. I am proud to be MO Smiley but I like to be called MOey and my people also call me MObaby.

Sometimes Dad calls me a Moose. I don't know what a moose is, but I'm sure they are nice. Maybe one will come visit me some day? I guess if a moose came to visit, I would share my carrots with it.

Kim calls me MObody. I guess that's sort of like SOMEBODY, only it's ME because I'm MO. Hehe.

Anyway, that poor horse with no name can borrow one of my names if he wants. I have plenty.

Here is a picture of me playing with my people in the round pen. You can't actually SEE my people in the picture, but they WERE there, I promise!

MO's Memoir

I thought if I'm going to be a famous blogging horse I should tell people more about myself. Here is a picture of me enjoying my pasture.

I was born at Morrisville College, so I'm a very educated horse. I found some very nice people in Vernon, NY and lived with them for a while, but they thought I was too polite. They wanted a horse who didn't slow down and let the other horses go ahead on the racetrack. That's okay. I didn't want to race anyway. I would have had to lose weight to be a racehorse, and I like myself just the way I am.

My people in Vernon found me some new people and that's how I came to live with my Ma here in Edinburg. Ma and Kim came to visit me and thought I would make a good friend for Video Man, who was very lonely, so my old people brought me to live here. I love it here. They even put a sign on my stall door with my name on it.

One day a nice lady stopped and took my picture. That picture made me internationally famous because it's on the cover of her book! And she still stops to visit me and bring me LOTS of carrots. Boy, do I LOVE carrots. I also have some little friends who like to visit me. They also bring carrots. I love my friends.

Introducing MO's Brand-New Blog

Hi! I'm MO Smiley! Okay, technically my name is MO Shuttle, but my people changed it from Shuttle to Smiley because I like to smile. Like this:

That's funny, right?

Anyway, because I have met so many new friends lately, my people thought I needed my own blog. Here is is! Do you like it? I like it. We will be posting more soon, so be sure to come by for another visit.
